BANS - Build a Niche Store- is a program to build an ebay affiliate websites. The software costs $97.00 and includes a license to build unlimited stores. You can choose from ebay in the US, UK Canada or Australia for your stores.
BANS (Build A Niche Store) is a website builder which enables you to create a network of traffic pulling, money making niche websites focused around the eBay affiliate opportunity.
You simply choose your niche…build and develop your site…promote…make money…rinse and repeat.
That’s the system and that’s exactly what Build A Niche Store enables you to do!
I heard good things about it from various sources so decided to give it a go!
How easy is it to use?
The basic set-up is very easy. You can have a web site up and running in 10 minutes BUT the templates included are very basic. Customising them to achieve a unique look is going to take some time and some knowledge of CSS. The templates lack colour (deliberately so they can be customised to your site) and a quick Google didn’t find any sources of free templates. Once you have purchased the software you have access to the forum which is very active and has a lot of interesting and informative information! I found at least one member selling templates.
Finding Your Niche
The most important thing to do is to find a good niche. The idea is that you find a niche that, using appropriate keywords, is going to be good for driving traffic to your site. Again there is a lot of information in the forum on tools to find niches and keywords and also on ways to advertise your site, mostly at low cost or free. Be prepared however, to take some time researching for your niche!
Conclusion
So far I am impressed with the software and support. I can’t comment on earnings yet as it’s very early days. My first store is up and running and already indexed by Google but I haven’t had much time for marketing yet. One of the things I intend to do is market stores in the UK with a .co.uk domain name as there seems to be less competition for 1st page Gooogle search placements.

So far I love the program. Just started my first niche site so I cant comment on the earnings but it has been pretty easy to set up and configure. Take a look at http://mediazene.com/disney-collectibles
Hi Neo, Love your header image
I haven’t made any money yet but it’s early days. My visitors are just starting to increase. I’m working on a blog to offer templates and tips on customisation. It’s still in the works so don’t expect it to be wonderful yet but come and take a look. (no templates available at the moment) Best BANS templates
Hi Janet,
Any tips on how you promote your BANS site? Also if you need any custom headers for your new BANS template site please email me. The person who did mine would like to design more and possible sell them.
Thanks
Neo
Hi Neo
I’m slowly trying to add my site to directories and I’ve used Hub
Pages and USFreeAds. I’m not getting many visitors from USFreeAds although my ad there for one site was on page 2 of Google so I guess it’s worth it.

I’ve written a post about publicising a BANS store over at Best BANS Templates: Publicising Your Store
Hi Janet,
I tried leaving a comment at “Best BANS Templates” but cant get the comment to save. I get an error about a missing field. Anyway, I thought I would do something to help new BANS users promote their site. I have a pixel page set up and invite anyone with a BANS site to post your header (or and ad for your site) and get a free link to your site with no link back required (and yes it is free). I have added a few of my BANS sites to get the page started. Check it out and see if it is usefull.

Thanks for the heads up about the comments not working. I’d activated math comment spam protection and completely forgot about it
Oh the joys of making a new web site. Just going to check out your page on million dollar website .com.

Ever since I was introduced to internet marketing I cant believe how these gurus want to make it sound so easy.
Although I’m making money, I’m no where near relaxing on the beach with my laptop for half an hour while my bank account gets
filled with money. No shortcuts at all, just work like any other business.
Agree with you there slsatchel! It is a lot of work - and I’m not convinced by some of the guys on forums who boast about how much they’re making for so little effort either!
its seems useful
nice post!!

Bans is great ive used it and recieved a $22 rebate. So far I dont have any complaints about it. Its great to purchase something and not worry about waisting your money. Ive learned alot from Bans build a niche store
Guys, I love BANS. I got started with one site and spent a huge amount of time setting up the store. After I spent some time with it, it got much easier. Now I’m up to 103 sites and I’m lovin it!
The trick to promoting your BANS site is SEO and organic search traffic from Google and Yahoo. One of the best ways to get that traffic is by adding content to every store page, above and below the products. Not just on the home page.

Bans Sounds like a great addition to niche marketing but I will try it as an addition to what I am niche marketing.
My only hold up with setting up a bunch of BANS sites is eBay. They are so unpredicatable I hate spending so much time building sites and then have them do something stupid like cancel the affiliate program.
I do pretty well with BANS. I’ve only been using it for a couple of months but have been able to average about $300 a month out of it using .info domains and also putting it into a subfolder of existing sites.
I’m a big fan of BANS. I have a few myself, but if you launch a BANS store, I would suggest avoiding setting one up on a .info domain. Many people have had a hard time getting .info domain BANS sites to rank (or even index)
I make a little money with BANS, but I try to not invest too much time into one method. I do like the software though.. Its really easy to use and you can get a store set up pretty quick.
Anyone have any success with this software?
Very nice post it helped me a lot and was so much interesting and it was so much useful to every body. Thank u of posting.
Nice post.its seems useful
BANS seems to have many uses, but I am not sure if it is worth the price. I think maybe the product is way over priced. $97 seems like a lot of money.
