If you’re just starting a new website or optimising an existing one you need all the help you can get to get your keywords right! There are lots of paid-for keyword tools and programs but here are some FREE keyword tools that I’ve found particulary useful.
Gives no of searches monthly plus All-in-Anchor and ALL-in-text results and the number of Google search results
(they also have other free tools - e.g. Website Analysis Tool and Website Data Miner)
SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool
This tool links the search volumes to the related global search results.
SEO Book Google Keyword Suggestion Tool
Tool grabs the top queries from Google Suggest and also links through to SEO Book keyword suggestion tool.
Use the Google Keyword Tool to get new keyword ideas.

If you want thousands of UK-dominated keywords on the cheap, http://www.wordze.com is good; it was $7.95 for 24hrs access last time I looked.
PS: Google Adwords is just fine if you just want to make, say, 100 pages. I think it stops at about 200 keywords per search. Also a good idea to edit these; some are not money phrases.

I’m sure everyone has heard by now, but Google is now showing search numbers in their Google Adwords Keyword Tool. This will be a great help when it comes to keyword research..
Google Keyword Tool is much better in terms of localising search optimization because it can break down the results into different countries.

Google keyword tool provides a good estimation of the keyword search volume. It is one of the good ones around.
