Domain Tools has some good tools to optimise your site, or to see details of your opposition’s sites! Plug in the URL and you’re given a page with all the usual Whois data plus some SEO information. I plugged in google.com and found the information below.
This isn’t all however. If you click on the SEO Text Browser to the right you can access more help for optimising your aite.
Click anywhere on the text browser and a popup window appears. Click on the” i” in the top left corner for suggestions to improve your SE and more information. Below are the suggestions I found for Google. Presumably Google doesn’t need a meta description 
The page does not have a meta description: Include a meta description since some search providers will present the description as a page summary.
Link URLs contain querystrings: Rewrite links to work without using querystrings.
Work through the suggestions and then refresh and see how much your SEO score has improved.

This is pretty cool, I prefer using seo tools plugin for firefox it works pretty well and I am able to check competitors sites as well.
I’m still have a doubt about this tool.

this tool can be useful to optimize your site at least to re-optimize your site… sometimes, we need to change keywords since the growth of competitors. This can be an alternative way to optimize your site. That’s is my opinion.. Thanks for sharing

Well it is a very nice tool for those webmaster who do not have too much knowledge on onpage optimization. It can tell you in details in regards to the use of tags in your website which many webmasters have failed to do it well.

Hi Janet, keep up the good work. Enjoy the SEO tips. I’ve run my joomla site through Domain Tools and I get good SEO scores. My wordpress site doesn’t fare so well.
I use this information all the time. The seo text browser is still in need of work though as they are working on the seo score feature.

Domain tools is a very useful tool and can be used to find out a lot more about your as well as others website. I used domain tools to find out the contact information of the webmasters and than use that information to communicate with them to exchange the links and many other SEO related links. The SEO aspect of the domain tools was not known to me however thanks a lot for sharing this information with us
