If you have a site selling eBay stuff you might want to provide another way to get your cookie onto their computer even if they are not clicking on an auction. One way is to provide a link to eBay guides with your i.d. embedded in the link. For instance, if you’re selling laptops you may want to make a link to “Laptop Buying Guide” on eBay.
One way to do this is to use eBay’s Flex Tool
1. Open up the guide page in your browser and copy the URL.
2. Go to the Flex Tool page. You’ll see the box pictured below.
3. Enter the URL of the guide, your CJ i.d. and the anchor text that you want for the link.
4. Click ‘make my link’ . 
5. Test the link if you want to then copy the provided code. If you copy the link with the anchor tags you can drop it straight into a page or text wiget (depending on what you are using for your site)
6. Instructions for WordPress
You can make a new text widget, title it something like ‘eBay Guides’, add the code you copied and save.
7. Instructions for BANS
To put the links in the sidebar you can add the code to the ‘ads ‘ in your admin panel. Alternatively you can make a new content page titled something like eBay Guides and add the code to the content. To do this click on the <> symbol to bring up the HTML editor, paste the code you saved in an appropriate place and click apply.
