Last month Google delisted all .info BANS sites (and other MFA* sites) Now it seems Google has it in for BANS sites with adsense.

He’s had 23 .com BANS sites deindexed. All had adsense blocks. if you have adsense on BANS sites or MFA it might be a good idea to remove it.
I’ve never used adsense on my BANS sites as I believe it brings in very little commission and I don’t want to distract visitors from the auctions but I do have adsense on a blog in a subfolder of the site that was recently sandboxed by Google. Could this be the reason? I’m going to remove the adsense as it’s bringing in very little.
*MFA made for adsense - in other words thin affiliate sites
I think thats good decision. There are lots of bad quality websites/BANS Sites, and its about time to bring about good sites and turn down the bad ones.

Yeah I agree, there alot of bad sites out there that have good rankings because they have been around a long time, but they don’t provide anything good.
There is no proof that google is actually de-indexing these sites. Just because one guy blogged about it happening doesn’t mean anything. He could have been de-indexed for a million different reasons.

But, if adsense is bringing in next-to-nothing, there’s no harm in removing it just in case.
When my .info sites were de-indexed I was told the same thing. It was normal, don’t worry they’ll come back, Google isn’t really out to get all .info BANS sites! Now it’s very clear that is exactly what Google was doing and anyone with .info BANS sites is in trouble.
Hey……… I didn’t know anything about that. Can you tell me if anyone put down the banned sites and apply later will google accept that?

If Google decides to de-index certain type of site, i believe we can read it at Matt Cutt BLog
i am surprised they would do that with BANs site, but i understand the mfa ban. Less mfa sites would improve search results.
Looks like Google is hammering on sites that are built for the purpose of making fast money without much informative content. This could be the very reason why. - Rif Chia
Well I never had adsense on any of my BANS sites and they got deindexed anyway. I am not going to go crawling to Google about it… plenty more domains where those came from. Live and learn…
This is the problem for relying on Adsense for income, it can be taken away too easily. What takes years to build can be reduced to nothing in a matter of minutes
