Google is essentially positioning themselves as the backbone of the internet. While it would still function with out then, thing would be a lot more difficult. I don’t think they’re going anywhere for a very long time.

I don’t know if people are right or wrong but I read on many blogs that people are not giving Yahoo and other engines more importance. Perhaps it is the right thing to do because Google always penalize many bloggers too often. On my site, traffic stats are pretty good and even I am receiving more traffic from other engines as compared to Google.

God I hope so! Our sites get far more traffic from Yahoo at the moment, so I think we’d get by. It’s scary though.

I had to go through the same cumbersome process for one of my sites and i lost all my adsense income. I think this is not fair but we can’t survive without the big G.
