As I can no longer use eBay to make money I have been concentrating on using adsense. I’ve put adsense on the eBay sites and I’m making between $900 and $1000 a month from these. However I did not optimize these ads so the CPC (cost per click) I am getting on some of the sites is very low. The reason for this post is to introduce a new site by Griz Make Money with Adsense which has so much useful information that you really don’t need to go anywhere else to learn how to make money online. Griz is an advocate of using free platforms such as Blogger and in making the blogs ugly so that people take one look, think this can’t be very good, and back out, often enough by clicking on the ads to make some money.
Have a look at his site, you will learn a lot as Griz, not only knows what he is talking about but has the knack of writing in a very clear way. Make sure you read the comments, especially Griz’s answers as there is so much information in these.

I think one thing people need to understand is that for AdSense to really generate cash flow you have to have a tremendous amount of traffic to your site. it is like anything a numbers game.

With respect to AdSense for Domains, I haven’t made more than a few cents here and there. I’ve also only got a few domains set up on it, and they’re relatively new. I don’t really see a lot of people focusing on using this as a “real” source of income, only something to earn a bit until the domains can be developed.
The key to making big money with adsense is to optimize the positioning of your ads and the appearance of them. Placing ads towards the center of the page and above the fold is always a good idea so make sure to have at least one ad unit in that location. Also be sure to place one ad unit at the bottom of the page as this will give visitors a place to go once they are done reading the content on the page.

Making money with adsense is great if you have a ton of websites and traffic. There are 26,000 new websites created everday and 97% of them never make more than one dollar. Adsense is a great way to go if you have traffic. But if people think they can live off adsense then they will have to live lean.

Hilton Head Well of course you need traffic for anything on the net but the belief that you need millions of visitors to make any money is not correct. I have quite a few sites by now, it’s taken me about a year to get this far and they weren’t made with adsense in mind but they are making me around $1000 a month. Some of them get around 250-300 visitors a day, most less. I fully expect my earnings to increase more as I make sites more suited to adsense. If you can make 50 sites each making only $1 a day (and how hard is that?) then that’s around $1500 a month. This is passive income that will keep on being earned every month with very little work. And if you can make 50 why not 100 (or more) given time? What is wrong is the belief in a magic formula to instantly make money. It takes work (a lot of it) and you’re not going to get rich overnight but it can provide a nice income if you’re willing to put in the work needed.
