Court over at the Keyword Academy issued a challenge to make 100 hubs in a month as a means to make money online with adsense. If you haven’t found hub pages yet check them out. You can make a hub easily and quickly and get some do follow links. In order for the links to be do follow you need to have a hub score over 75 which is pretty easy to do. I made a new account and reached that with just 4 hubs.
I’ve been making hubs really for the back links and haven’t paid much attention to using them for adsense but some interesting things have come out of Court’s challenge. He’s doing well (but then he’s a master at this!) but a Ben over at How to Make Money Online with SEO has taken up the challenge and set a target of 200 hubs in a month! At first he wasn’t making any money but he’s been refining his technique and now seems to have cracked how to go about this. I won’t go into the details here as he’s posted just how he’s doing it on his site so head over there and read about it.
Just thinking about all that work makes me tired and now he’s talking about making
100 phBay self-hosted ebay niche sites, 200 ezine articles, 100 blogger blog niches, or 1 self hosted blog in a niche with 200 niche based articles, or 3000 backlinks in one month

The challenge is going well. I think i’ll just be able to sqeeze out 200-250 hubs + my 100 ezine articles by next tuesday. I’ve learned a lot with this challenge, and it’s shown me you can make some good money with hubs with you do it right and put the work in. I’m really keen to start on my next experiement, which is an extension of the hubpage idea, just on my own domain.
Hubpages adsense challenge? That sounds interesting. I will check that out and I’ll give it a try.
BenK That’s great. I’ve been making a few hubs using your guidelines - I really don’t know how you manage to do so many! have had 2 clicks so far and earned $3. Will let everyone know how it goes. I’m still undecided whether you can earn more money using hub pages or putting the same amount of content on your own sites especially in the long term.
Over the long run, your own domain for sure. It you want to start earing immedietly, then going with hubpages is a good idea — you can hijack their domain authority to get ranked faster.
But for long term, your own domains all the way. I like the idea of using hubpages to *sniff* out some potential domains then expand on those with self hosted sites.
The challenge 100 hubs in a month i think will be very easy to be accomplish and making money online with adsense will be a piece of cake. Thank for this post and I should really don’t miss this challenge.
Really the beauty of Hub pages is that you not only publish our articles but we can earn from them from Ad sense and commissions from promoting various online store items like E bay and Amazon.

I’ve been using hubpages for a while now and I really like it. I haven’t used the adsense strategy at all yet, but I think I’ll start working on getting that going. I mainly use hubpages to get some quick and easy back links to my website.
Very Nice content about how to get money from hubpages, i alos initially used hubpages for linking but now doing something good out of it, thank you for givin this wonderful information.
Mostly we use hubpages and other networks just to grab links and that is not bad. I think in this way good content can be created but I am relatively new to concept of Adsense with them. I’ll be checking it right away.
Interesting post. Keyword research is pretty much where it’s at, that and getting solid links. You can outsource content and easy link building, but for the good keywords and the best links, you’ve pretty got to take it on yourself to get things done.
I’ve been a little slow with the Hub building myself (was never in for the challenge, given that I was scuba diving in Thailand near the beginning of it), but I’m starting to pick up steam here so we’ll see what lessons I learn and how much money I can make!

Keywords play an important role in any content. If you have a fresh content and place keywords nicely and have a nice support or source of pages like Hub. Then your marketing strategy goes great. This is really useful
Great Hub! I mean great article. hehe. This is true, Hubpages.com has been challenging users to write a 100 hubs in a month. Some members will also share their success stories so that you will be encouraged to challenge the contest.
It is not purely all about a writing challenge. Hub Pages is like motivating you to write so that you will earn more through adsense. As a matter of fact, it is really effective for the members of Hub Pages. The only problem is that there are those who just want to finish the whole 100 articles and publish hubs that doesn’t make sense or is just made to complete the 100 hubs. I guess that would be pretty useless having 100 articles that is 75% not interesting. Probably it won’t make that much money in adsense.
But the main idea of hub pages creating this challenge is really a step up for their members. Besides, there are only a few websites like hub pages that motivates their members to success.
This in turn helps we get more traffic, and if we know anything about internet marketing, then we understand that targeted traffic is half of the battle.
Hm, I had not heard of this technique before but after reading Ben’s posts I think it has some potential. Certainly if he is seeing some income from this approach then others can do it too.

I am too lazy sometimes and cant achieve even 30 hubpages a month.

Hubpages! I’ve heard a lot about this as well as that of Squidoo and how both can help in getting backlinks. I have been successful so far in ignoring the advice to create my own for quite some time. However, on stumbling upon this article here, I think the number of advices coming from reputable people is enough to convince me to quit ignoring this. I’m heading over there to create my own. I’ve also checked out M&C’s site. I believe they got a real system going in their courses. People have been saying that earning money through adsense is ancient history. Why is M&C focusing on this now? I’d say, they have inside information that is worth checking out!
If you’re going to put in a lot of work making sites then you should consider buying your own domains. If Hubpages ever goes bust or starts nofollowing or something, then you’re screwed.
As long as each site has different, original content and they don’t interlink, subdomains are a good, cheap way to make separate sites on the same domain.
I haven’t tried using hubpages but I heard a lot about it. Correct me if I’m wrong. Hubpage has a pointing system that if you had reach 100 points all your links will become dofollow. It sounds cool and absolutely both backlinks and traffic that you are looking for is there. A package deal in other sense.
I don’t think that I could possibly put in enough work during a month to get all of that done! I’d be lucky to get 30 hubpages (along with all of the other sites) done in a month. I think it is a very good option to bring in a little bit more money (and backlinks) though.

Yep, I’m going to be writing 100 Hubs in 30 days starting next Monday, May 11th. This might sound a little crazy (because it is), but I promise that I have a somewhat logical reason for doing it.
